Holy crap. I shot my first destination wedding and it was AMAZING. Beautiful location and even more beautiful bride, what more could a photographer ask for?! A cooperative groom possibly? CHECK! Lucas was awesome, along with all guests and bridal party, I had such a blast. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I probably should let them speak for themselves and quit adding to this 60,000 word blog post. ENJOY!
Last month, I had a contest on Instagram (follow me! @kfcreativestudio). Well here is the winner! Aubrie and Tyler were a blast to hang out with. Tyler actually proposed to Aubrie at the river SO CLOSE to where we started our session. So excited for these two and their New Year's Eve wedding!
I used to tell Anton (my boyfriend/roommate/puppy daddy), about each of my couples before heading to their sessions. Now that I get so many awesome couples, and it's usually my first time meeting them, I just tell him I'm "off to a session". Well as I was editing Heidi and Mark's session, Anton walks by, takes a double look, and yells "Mark the Shark!". Little did I know, Mark and Anton used to work together! Talk about a small world. Last Friday night (did anyone else start singing Katy Perry?) I had the chance to hang out with Jessie and Zech. They had the awesome idea to shoot at the location of the home they are building, and after that we adventured down to an old abandoned farmstead. These two have such a genuine connection, it was a pleasure capturing it.
Have you guys ever been to The Market on 4th? It's frickin' amazingggg. It's in Minot and the address is 411 19th St NW, right next to the best Dairy Queen in town. Last weekend they had an event called the Spring Flea where tons of different vendors set up booths in the parking lot. Bonus points if you can find which booth is Maxwell Woods (boyfriend's work)!
