Gab + Marshall | Minnesota Winter Wedding Photographer

I met Gab back in June when we were bridesmaids in the same wedding. I didn't know a many people at the wedding so I ended up hanging out with Gab and her fiance, Marshall for most of the night. The next time I saw them was on their wedding day in December, crazy how things work out! These two are the most fun & relaxed couple, even outside with negative temperatures! There were honestly times that I told Gab I needed to warm up (as I'm wearing a winter jacket and gloves.. and she's in a strapless dress)!

Metzger Destination Wedding | Pensacola, FL

Do you guys remember that big hurricane that hit the Florida coast back in October? Well that just happened to coincide with Carley and Jordan's wedding week. Luckily, they were married up in the Gulf, rather than Miami or somewhere else affected. I don't even remember how many frantic texts and calls I received asking if I was okay, but it was a lot. Anywho...

The Metzger's had 75 of their closest friends and family surrounding them for the most beautiful beach ceremony. If you're thinking about a destination wedding, don't think, just do. These two lovebirds were wed at the Margaritaville Hotel, and were blessed with perfect weather. The photos speak for themselves, so prepare yourself for a long post full of happy tears.

I didn't announce that I was going to start taking weddings until last winter, so nearly all of my weddings are late summer/fall this year. Being the wedding obsessed girl I am, I found a dress for less than $100 online, enlisted one of my close friends to model, and picked peonies from my backyard. Luckily my sister is the most amazing cosmetologist and is always down for my ideas. It all made for a fun evening with a few of my favorite girls. This bombshell is an amazing pretend bride and I can't wait for her to become the real deal someday ;)

Holy crap. I shot my first destination wedding and it was AMAZING. Beautiful location and even more beautiful bride, what more could a photographer ask for?! A cooperative groom possibly? CHECK! Lucas was awesome, along with all guests and bridal party, I had such a blast. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I probably should let them speak for themselves and quit adding to this 60,000 word blog post. ENJOY!
